Role Overview

The Product Design Team is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our team. Product Designers are at the heart and soul of OMLAMP, and provide our truest differentiator. As a Product Designer (UI/UX), you will go deep into the needs of our customers, and help support their end-to-end journeys with OMLAMP– as they onboard, learn how to become power users of our platform, and eventually optimize their logistical operations through our software. From designing simple digital solutions for complex systems, to creating mocks that deliver impact quickly, this Product Designer (UI/UX) will be responsible for visioning, creating, testing, and working worth the Product Team to deliver valuable experiences across the OMLAMP platform.

Responsibilities

  • Define the user experiences that help our customers in their end-to-end journey, from their first impression and consideration of OMLAMP to onboarding, managing and growing their business.
  • Manage multiple projects at once, both large and small.
  • Provide strategic thinking on how we get to an end state. Ability to take something from zero to value.
  • Become an expert on various logistical personas, and continually champion for their needs.

  • Ensure consistency in our design language system, brand, platform architecture, and evolve our best practices.
  • Own the end-to-end design process, partnering closely with cross functional teams like Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Executives.

What We Expect

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with end-to-end product design.
  • Expertise in Sketch, and other tools for generating wireframes, designs, prototypes, and specifications.
  • Demonstrated history for leading the design of complex, large-scale tools that are simple, elegant, and beautiful.
  • Desire and ability to create the best digital design in the industry.
  • Excellent communicator and cross functional collaborator.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
